It takes the urine smell out without having a strong scent of its own. I am very sensitive to chemical smells. Scented things usually give me a migraine. This product, however, is great. It has a very slight bleach scent when you open the bottle, but when you spray it on your carpet, it does not smell at all. It got the pet urine stain and smell out of my carpet without staining the carpet or leaving a nasty scent of its own.
