I bought these in-store (18 pcs). Not a bad starter knife set. They look good in the in the kitchen. The back of the grind near the tang on the 5" chef's knife had some rust upon opening but that was easily dealt with. These will do until I can afford a set of Global or Zwilling JA Henkels (Twin) set. I notice many people complaining that their kitchen knives are rusting and call them junk. Food grade stainless has a higher carbon/steel content. This is why people are able to use magnetic knife blocks. It also means it will corrode if not properly cared for. To deal with oxidation get at tube of Flitz and a microfiber cloth. It will remove the rust and stains while buffing the knife. To prevent rust, coat the entire blade lightly with an edible oil after each wash. People forget that these are tools and require maintenance other than washing.
