Whether you're a seasoned baker or a beginner just starting your culinary journey, we offer sourdough starter kits for a fun, hassle-free sourdough starter experience.
Our 32-ounce capacity sourdough starter jar is made with food-grade glass and has a wide-mouth design, so you can easily add flour and water to this glass jar and remove the leavening agent when needed. The set comes with a thermometer and feeding band to help you monitor the growth of the leavening agent, and a long silicone spatula to fully mix the contents of the jar. The breathable cloth cover promotes natural yeast fermentation and the wooden lid seals tightly for storage in the refrigerator. Black label paper and pen are provided to help you record information, in addition to loofah fluff, silicone measuring spoons, rubber bands and other accessories to help you carry out a sourdough fermentation experience.
Notes:
1.The glass jar is directly resistant to high temperatures of 70℃. If boiling water is added, it should be preheated with warm water first. Please note that glass jars are not heat-resistant glass and cannot be poured directly into boiling water, as there is a risk of cracking.
2.Glass jars can be sterilized by adding vinegar to warm water or by heating and boiling in a pan of cold water.
3.To keep the jar safe, remember to loosen the lid occasionally to release pressure, manage the fermentation temperature and timing, and leave enough room inside for the starter to expand.
- [REAL-TIME MONITORING OF SOURDOUGH STARTER] Simply stick the thermometer sticker on the glass sourdough starter jar, which will help you make sure the starter is at the optimal temperature with the eye-catching temperature color change. The feeding band is labeled with the day of the week and the time of day, and you can rotate the band to either side to mark the feeding time and move the band up and down to mark the starting level so you don't forget when you last fed.
- [TWO STORAGE STYLES] The sourdough starter jar is equipped with a cloth cover and a wooden lid, the cloth lid is breathable and allows air to circulate to promote natural yeast fermentation, while the wooden lid is airtight and prevents deterioration of the leavening agent, which is suitable for storing in the refrigerator for a week or more, so you can use the leavening agent to make sourdough anytime you want.
- [EASY TO CLEAN AND USE] The sourdough starter kit includes a silicone spatula, the spatula is comfortable to grip and has a thin, soft edge, making it easy for you to fully stir the starter in the jar.
