one piece desk. folds out with attached legs that are swing out and top that will attached to their brackets on the legs. Legs and top are on hinges. So sturdy you can sit on it, no wobbles, no rocking. Great height for anything worth doing, plenty on surface area to do it on. The weight is a little heavy but, considering the material and the sturdiness of the table and the fact that it's foldable, quite doable. the color I chose was sage or green however you look at it was so cute. not to have just white or black to choose from was nice. pleasantly surprised and rather shocked by the price. there are numerous uses and would recommend it highly.
