Yippie! The moment it arrived I opened it and was super happy to find 2 of the rechargeable 18650 Li-ion batteries sitting in the package to be installed. I already have an awesome tiny flashlight that appears to be a mini version of a cop's flashlight that uses one of these batteries. I also have a 3 year old super bright solar yard light that has been discharging/charging these batteries for a few years now flawlessly. I also have a plug in charger that can charge 4 of these batteries at a time and 5 additional batteries in my kitchen drawer that have yet to have been charged a single time since I got them. Needless to say I bought a 2nd one of these headlamps immediately. The light: This is a great light! It is exactly like a light I bought in the 20teens that took 4 AA batteries that I used in my construction job in crawl spaces, attics, and any other occasion that called for hand free light. It died around 2022. Sadly I replaced it with a headlamp that I poorly researched and probably had 1/4 or less the light that that one had. This Light is exactly as bright as that 20teens headlamp was and as bright as my mini flashlight is. Battery life I cannot testify to but will start using it on my 4 mile walk I take out on the local trail in our 100 acre park along the river every night after work. I will be carrying 2 extra fully charged 18650 batteries with me because this park is no place to be without a light. I always carry my mini flashlight as a back up so I can see to change batteries. I have owned it for 2 hrs now. I am so happy with the discovery of the battery situation! I'll be back to update battery life once they go dead. I have brought them to a full charge already on my 18650 charger.
