This headlamp is perfect for mechanical work. It provides good illumination is very comfortable to use, and adjusts perfectly to the head. The materials feel high quality and durable. I've had one four abut two years and it has helped me out of many situations. It gives you great freedom because it allows you to work hands-free, which is essential in mechanical work. The battery life is also very good and last longer than expected. Overall, an excellent product that I highly recommend.

The batteries are easy to assemble and the band is adjustable and quite comfortable. You can also adjust the actual direction of the light which helps too. I was impressed with how bright the light is! We went on a night hike, and it provided more than enough light. The light can either be used with the adjustable head strap which can go small enough to even fit my three year old or can be easily clipped onto something like your waistband. There are two brightness settings and both are very bright.
