Treats vaginal yeast infections. Relieves external itching and irritation due to a vaginal yeast infection. Warnings: For vaginal use only. Do not use if you have never had a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have: Vaginal itching and discomfort for the first time. Lower abdominal, back, or shoulder pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge (may indicate a more serious condition). Vaginal yeast infections often (e.g., once a month or 3 in 6 months), as this could indicate pregnancy or a serious underlying medical condition like diabetes or a weakened immune system. Been exposed to HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) that causes AIDS. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking the prescription blood-thinning medicine warfarin, as bleeding or bruising may occur. When using this product: Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products. Condoms and diaphragms may be damaged and fail to prevent pregnancy or STDs. Do not have vaginal intercourse. Mild increase in vaginal burning, itching, or irritation may occur. If you do not get complete relief, ask a doctor before using another product. Stop use and ask a doctor if: Symptoms do not get better in 3 days. Symptoms last more than 7 days. You get a rash or hives, abdominal pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).

Instructions
Before using this product read the enclosed consumer information leaflet for complete directions and information. Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: Suppositories: Insert 1 suppository into the vagina at bedtime for 3 nights in a row. Throw applicator away after use. External Cream: Squeeze a small amount of cream onto your fingertip. Apply to the itchy, irritated skin outside the vagina. Use 2 times daily for up to 7 days, as needed. Children Under 12 Years: Ask a doctor. Other information: Do not use if the printed suppository wrapper is torn, open, or incompletely sealed. Do not use if the seal over the tube opening has been punctured. Do not purchase if the carton is open. Store at 20°–25°C (68°–77°F).

first time having to use a medicine for this but definitely wouldn't recommend using the applicator, it just made it more difficult and messier for no reason. but seemed to do the job by day two. i also used while pregnant and all went well.

3-Day treatment works for me
I've used Vagistat by Vagistat 3-Day Treatment. Every time I take any antibiotics I get a yeast infection so I order Vagistat 3-Day vs. 1-Day because the 1 Day just doesn't seem to do the trick. When I opened the first treatment the suppository was melted and much like pudding, so I attempted to use it with the plunger. I think it went ok, because I used the 2nd Vagistat suppository which was solid like it should be. That went well and so did the 3rd application. All in all it worked, so no complaints! I figured out since living in northern Texas the temperatures has been high 90's and I thought the Vagistat was placed near a hot area of the vehicle which is why one of the suppositories was melted and there's no reason to complain about it. I recommend this product.
