smaller inside than I by just a smidge more than I expected but it's in my bedroom for keeping personal snacks on hand that my kids would normally devour and I'm diabetic so I need the single servings of things like carrots, guacamole, applesauce, cooked chicken and fish, orange juice, and cheese on hand so I'm quite pleased with my purchase overall and it says in the instructions to put items already chilled in there so as long as they're already cold they will keep very well for at least a week or 2 depending on what is stored in there
