Sturdy mid-century design, but mattress may shift
Looks great and was easy to put together with easy to follow instructions. This isn't the first Zinus bed I've owned and I can tell they've made a lot of improvements to their assembly since the last one I got a few years back. The frame is a lot more stable and sturdy than the old one was. There are sticky strips to hold your mattress in place but since it's a flat platform with nothing to keep the mattress contained, your mattress can move and shift and will probably need to be adjusted every now and then. This wouldn't really be an issue but I have a Doberman that loves to run full speed and jump onto the bed which constantly pushes the mattress around. If that sort of thing bothers you, maybe pass on this one. But if not, it's held up great and been super sturdy throughout all the Doberman running and jumping.

Very nice bed frame
This bed frame looks more expensive than it is. It looks just like the picture. We use it with bunky boards to support our sleep number mattress. It is very easy to put together, a characteristic of every Zinus bed frame we have purchased (3 different styles). My only wish is that is was perhaps 5 inches higher off the ground.
