Speed trumps power

When swimming a jig, or fishing a Texas rigged Berkley Power Worm you can't beat speed. Easier to slow down than speed up...this new generation STX is great. If your a tournament angler and are not using the 8:1 ratio Revo STX you are at a disadvantage.

My first casting reel was an Abu Garcia 5500c back in 1974. I still have that reel, and it still works well. Abu Garcia has been my preferred reel ever since. Abu garcia is excellent in there new reels. The stx is light in hand. Smooth cast and retrieve. I go from light lures to large jigs without much adjustment. Large handles, very comfortable. Not getting used to silver look. Needs more carictor. In my opinion
