Some of my teeth are very tight together, and this string can get between them. Regular floss can be tough to get between teeth. No having to mess with winding floss around fingers, and sticking fingers in mouth to run string forward-backward between teeth. Use this floss pick once, hand is outside the mouth, and toss. Haven't found the detachable pick to be of much use, though.
