Bissell Homecare International 133692 18 oz Pet Urine Eliminator Plus Enzyme Action

Received the Woolite Pet Urine Eliminator Blotter from the Stellar Product Testing Panel a few months ago and had the opportunity to give it a go in my largely carpeted home which houses three cats and a dog. With such a population there is no shortage of messes and stains to clean. The first spot I tried to remedy is a circle stain that had previously been run over with a steam cleaner however, was still visible. This cleaner did a good job of removing the residual smell but after a few days of drying the ring was still there. The next place we used it was for a cat urine mess on our basement couch from the oldest cat. I will say, after blotting it as dry as we could with paper towels and applying the cleaner it really did work. The strong urine smell from cats is almost impossible to get rid of and this product did a great job. We have yet to have any of the other cats try to go in the same spot so I view that as a win. I like the built in brush head design however, you need to make sure to clean the head under water after use to keep it ready for the next time. I would recommend this product to a fellow pet owner with fabric or carpet in their home.

Firstly, I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. When I first saw the bottle I wasn't very impressed, nor did I have high hopes that it would actually work like it says. In my personal experience with trying carpet spot treatments, they haven't been that great. Some work better than others. I have multiple animals... a cat, ferrets, and dogs. I have used this spot treatment on a couple of different places. I have an older dog that sometimes does not make it outside to use the restroom. She peed on the carpet and I used this spot treatment on that area. She urinated sometime in the evening after we went to bed and I did not find it until the next morning. I used the woolite treatment and was very surprised that it got the stain out completely AND it didn't stink afterwards either. (See attached pictures) I've also used this on ferret poop on my rug and it's gotten those stains out as well. My ferrets are in a cage, but I let th out to run around daily for exercise and sometimes they go to the bathroom outside of their cage. After cleaning that spot with the urine eliminator, they have not gone to the bathroom in that spot again. It's almost like a deterrent in that area now. This product was super easy to use and even has a built in brush head, so no need to go get any tools to clean up. It's all in one bottle and it's very convenient. I actually like the way this product works, but also how it smells. There isn't any kind of chemical or nasty smell at all. It has a light refreshing scent similar to clean linen or a waterfall as your using it. Once it dries, there isn't any smell at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has pets. The only thing I wish is that I came in a bigger bottle.
