This was so easy to install and really helpful when we were introducing a new pet to our home. I needed something that I didn't need to drill into the wall to install, because I am in a rental. I also wanted something that the pets could potentially see each other / smell each other through without getting too each other. I was especially impressed with the material, which is scratch resistant and very durable. Putting up was so easy that I am able to move it from the top of the staircase / stairwell to the bottom without any issues. My one cat is a very deft climber, but this deterred even him.

This design is so modern. It does not take away from your house decor like other plastic or wood design gates. I really dont understand what other people are talking about.Plus it doesn't have to be stationary and drilled into one area. You can move it anywhere you need it to be.
