The desiccant pack is:

Food Grade and Food Safepassing the US FDA 21 CFR 176.170 compliance test which means that the packet is safe to be in direct contact with food both the packet material itself as well as the ink.

Recharge instructions:

Oven: Bake packets for 0.5 - 2 hours at 200 - 250F.
Microwave: Use the defrost function of the microwave, DEFROST packets for 7-12 minutes. Begin with the least amount of time and increase the time as needed. Many microwaves do not let you choose "time" for Defrost mode having to enter "weight" instead. Then the microwave automatically calculates the amount of time for you based on the weight. Enter various weights until you ascertain the weight that provides closest time to 7 minutes and select that weight.
Recharging time variesdepending on the saturation level of beads as well as the strength of the microwave.
