This purifier is very easy to use. It does all the work for you. The purifier has a sensor that measures the air quality 60 times per minute. It has an Auto setting that increases or decreases the air speed when needed...or you can select an air speed yourself. This unit also has a UV-C option added protection. The air filter traps 99% of particles and it has a charcoal filter to help eliminate odors. The unit is conveniently sized at 12" tall and 10" diameter. Also, this thing is quiet...nice bonus. I'm happy with it. I think you will be too.

I'm a huge fan of this Germ Guardian air purifier. This is a worthwhile machine to have in every household. My house stays pretty clean and we have no pets at all, so initially I couldn't tell if it was doing anything. The real test came on a Sunday morning when I fried up some bacon in my air fryer. The air purifier is set on automatic and I heard the fan increase speed and the light change to orange and then red as it recognized the bacon particles in the air. There was a noticeable difference with how my kitchen smelled while using the air purifier after cooking the bacon. The smell usually hangs in the air but it was not noticeable when I entered my house later that morning. That is a huge win in my book. The purifier runs 24/7 and blows out cool air as it cleans it. There is a button for the ultraviolet germicidal light to turn on and off. That's a cool feature and I hope it helps. You can hear it running but it is only noticeable when the cleaning level increases. It doesn't take up a lot of space, but it does need to have a foot of space around it. It says you should replace the filters every 6-8 months depending on how hard your machine has to work. The price of the filters are fair for that time frame and I am very satisfied with using this machine for a long time.
