I find it comical that these dog treats are healthier than most human food. these smell really good to me, like vinegar but sweet smell. the cost is pricey but fair for the ingredients and my dogs love these. these are sort of tough -- not rock hard but tough and bendable. I have a dog with few teeth who can't eat these unless I cut them up into pea sized pieces. I support this brand and hope they don't get bought out by Big Pet Food and change their recipes. I've tried all of their offerings and they are all good. the beef sticks are good for dogs who can't chew well,also the chicken and apple sausage ones.
