Pour 2-3" of litter into a clean litter box. Scoop waste clumps daily. Add more litter as needed to maintain desired depth. With regular scooping, your base litter can last up to 7 weeks. Switching made simple! Start with a clean, empty litter box at each transition: 1. Fill half the box with ökocat and top off with your current litter for a total of 2-3". 2. Use more ökocat and top with less of your current litter. 3. When your cat is comfortable with the change, fill litter box 2-3" entirely with ökocat. ökocat litter is flushable in well-maintained septic systems. It is important to only flush only 1 or 2 scoops of litter at a time. Never put large amounts of litter in the toilet. Please check with your local and state regulations before flushing into a public or septic system. Healthy Pet will not be responsible for damages resulting from misuse of its products. DO NOT FLUSH LITTER IN LOW-FLOW, WATER-SAVING TOILETS According to CA Law AB 2485, encouraging your cat to use an indoor litter box, or properly disposing of outdoor cat feces, is beneficial to overall water quality. California asks that you do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it in gutters or storm drains.

Non-powdery and mostly odor-free clumping litter.
We recently tried out Okocat as our local pet supply store was out of our regular brand and we were pleasantly surprised. There was virtually no odor and I love the fact that it doesn't make a 'powdery' mist some of the other brands do when we stir up the mix a bit after picking up the clumps from the litterbox. Our cat didn't seem to notice the change either and adapted well. The granules can sometimes stick and get out of the litter box but we already have mats around the area for this purpose and a quick sweep of the broom fixes that.

Love this litter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bad cats my entire life, we have used many letters over the years and nothing has been quite like this. I initially wasn't sure that I liked it. However, my cat is so good with this letter. We don't have a mask except for maybe the little area outside of her box because she likes to jump. There is no smell. I'm pretty sure you could actually flush this litter although I've never tried that it does get rinsed down my shower because my cat has decided to wash her feet in my shower after she goes potty. I just love it.
