Berberine was suggested to me by a Herbalest for lowering my blood sugar and cholesterol. It works great for lowering my cholesterol. I no longer have to take statins. One of the side effects are that they cause leg cramps. Taking herbals, are an easy way to self control blood sugar and cholesterol.
