These are defective. I should have trusted the other reviews. I needed colored ones and saw the price so I went for it. Completely not usable trash. Please fix your product, pull the old ones or discontinue selling these. I will keep recommending the clear polybands instead and continue searching for rainbow ones that don't break immediately upon use. These can't be reused, let alone use at all. If you're looking for a product that doesn't work, spend your money on these. I don't know if they're just old or what the problem is. The cut is jagged. You can feel them tear as you use them. They can't even be used to secure barettes. Don't use them to do a really nice braid because you'll be wasting your time and money retying them. I used them to secure sections of hair and I just gave up on the style within hours because I was over it. These don't seem like regular polybands, they're like a mixture of rubber and plastic if that makes sense. Maybe they're latex because that's what it's giving.
