Serves the purpose

Once I learned how to properly place the rails on the bed it was awesome! You have to stretch each strap to the opposite side of the bed on top of the box spring. Place the Matress on top then turn the metal end to basically lock it per say by allowing it to touch both the Matress and the box spring.

Solid setup and easy to install.

I'm using a set of these on one side of a lower bunk bed that is against the wall to keep a toddler from falling out of bed. It makes it a little harder to get her into bed, you have to lift her into and out of bed, but she won't fall out. On bunk beds you will have a small gap between the rails and the bed posts, but it's too small for a toddler to get through. We draped a blanket over the rails to fill in the gaps. They do make it harder to make up the bed though.
