a great substitute for a waring blender

years ago I was the recipient of my family's wearing blender which dated back I think to the mid to late 1950s. I took it to college both my junior college experience and my University experience where I graduated in 1968. this blender did wonders for my social life especially on Friday and Saturday night mixing exotic cocktails. this one comes as close to that original blender that I had in college.

Great blender

I'm loving my new blender. I especially like how the cord wraps up under it so it's not hanging everywhere. It was very powerful when I made milkshakes, it did it pretty fast. I also used ice in it to make an icee and it did a great job chopping up the ice.
