It's a basic small rice cooker for my apartment. It has a simple on and off switch. I've never made more than 3 cooked cups of rice. I have a hard time believing it can hold 6 cooked cups of rice but I haven't tested it to know for sure. I still think it was a great value and priced right.

This thing is amazing. I can't cook rice to save my life. My husband always does the "boil in a bag" rice, but I just can't deal with all that cutting and squeezing out the rice. This little rice cooker saved my day. Not only does it make rice quickly and so easily, I have used it to cook beans. (Beantok's new trend on TikTok--- eat a can of beans a day. It's supposed to fix your gut) I've seen that folks cook many things in a rice cooker and I plan to use mine for lots of other items too!
