Used a small amount of oil to brown stew meat, worked perfectly. The meat coated with flour did not stick. The stew cooked without any worries of all the ingredients sticking to the bottom, you need to stir occasionally. Cleaning of the pot was effortless. It came with a lid most pans and pots do not so that was a plus and the handles are not that heavy black plastic like material that when they get hot will smoke and give off a smell. Would recommend to others. I bought two right off the bat, glad I did.
