Great Northern Bean %26 Ham-Hock Soup

I was raised eating a couple cans of these beans [or the dry beans version] added to a ham-hock, diced onions, crushed tomatoes. 32 oz can of tomatoe juice stirred into 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of water with a added bay leaf %26 a half cap full of liquid smoke %26 the amount of water depends on how many where at the house %26 eating that night. Yum, Yum that meal was so good, thank you mama1 [DO NOT EVER EAT THE BAY LEAF-TAKE 'IT' OUT OF THE PAN BEFORE SERVING].

Great Northern Beans are a wonderful and healthy source of protein and fiber! I use them in several of my recipes. The skins of the beans are very comfortable, not crispy or thick. And the price for a whole can of these Great Value beans is very acceptable!

GV northern beans are awesome. Good pricing %26 delicious. Easy to chew %26 texture is great. The only improvement would be a much LOWER-SODIUM content. This country doesn't need additional sugar/salt in any canned products. Plus, the beans are packed with protein. GV unsweented applesauce is a sweet, healthy %26 very affordable snack. Thank you Walmart for always stocking your shelves with these beans!
