I'm sure that there are better monitors for gamers and such. I don't play computer games so I don't care about refresh rate and things that gamers do. I do photography and I need resolution and color accuracy in a somewhat static environment. For a very reasonable price, this unit delivers what I want to have. It's easy to set up, bright and has both a bright aspect and deep colors. For me, it's perfect. I've read that the speakers are awful. I have a set of separate speakers already set up so I don't care. Who depends on screen speakers anyway? That's never a good way to go.
