Great for synched music listening--parties

These are really awesome for the price and for what they are. These are bluetooth speakers that you can daisy chain. I bought 24 of them for a wedding we are having at our house. I also bought a Bluesound Powernode so I could add in other sources to the stream (like the microphone system for the ceremony and the music accompaniment. Here's what I found that are key to these: 1) You need to space them right. About 15 feet max to be safe. It will clip and break up otherwise. 2) You need to turn them on in order. They sync with the closest one. 3) I bought supplemental 10000mAh USB portable chargers to add to them. They last a good 3 hours maybe 4 on their own. If you add a powerbar to them, they can last over 8 hours (which for a wedding is needed). We learned to put the powerbar on first and power them up with that -- otherwise they will lose their connection when you plug them in later and have to restart the system. 4) The sound is really really good. We are very happy. 5) Construction of the poles is sound, solid. Not pieces of crap. This beats putting large speakers around and turning them up loud so everyone can here. You can better manage sound with these spread out in a mesh fashion. You don't need to overwhelm people. The biggest issue is I wanted to buy some more, but they are sold out everywhere. When they come back, I would recommend these. I did not try the other ones in this class, but these work great as noted above. Good luck!

They pretty good when you use them all together, very hard to sync them together ; but once you do they work pretty good. They feel a bit flimsy and I'm skeptical about the waterproof claim.

We bought just the lights of this items, no speaker and they are solar powered, however not all of them work, usually only two or three. I don't think I would order this type of speaker with the lights since we weren't happy with ours.
