I put this in a little spray bottle as I'm only using on my roots and don't need it all over. The first time I used it I used too much and wow my hair was dry. I'm thinking I used too much. Be careful not to get it on anything like the walls or your clothes. I say walls if your spraying like I am. Spray rubb then brush or comb to get it worked thru. I really like it
