Worked better than expected!

I looked for something for the brick around my fireplace after my 9month old fell onto the corner. It was easy to cut to size and sticks great. My baby won't hurt herself if she falls on this, very cushy. I had trouble applying the tape at first and kept getting it stuck together. But then I reallized that if you pull the tape off the sheet, then stick it on the guards, then pull off the backing, it worked much better.

sturdy and cushy

I put boxes to block our DS getting hurt on the fireplace bricks, but needed a better solution. I saw this with good reviews and really like it. Its east to put on and snug enough so that DS doesn't rip them off. I bought 2 in case it was too short, but I actually needed to trim some of off. Its a foamy kind of cush and it matches well with the fireplace so it doens't look tacky. You don't even notice its there.
