Tasty
My wife and I found these to be tasty and moist. We have tried two other flavours from this brand apple-cinnamon and blueberry and enjoyed them also, she prefers the plain ones over the flavoured ones. The whole wheat crust has a good texture and is easy to chew and does not taste like cardboard, the fruit filling is not overly sweet and with only 10 grams of sugar. The ingredient list has eleven items in it and you can pronounce them all. I carry these to work with me and store them in my tool bag for a quick snack that has some staying power. Read the label carefully, there are 6-2 oz packs in the box and each 1-oz bar is a serving. These are a healthy alternative to junk food.
great cookies
These are so much more than regular fig bars.They are a lot thicker for one thing and more filling. I like that they are packaged in packs of two so thay don't dry out. I sometimes eat one for lunch and save the other one for later because they are so filling and full of nutrients. I am going to look for the other flavors because these cookies are so good. I think my family would like them too. It could be a down side for some people because there are only six packages but that is a total of twelve cookies and they are a lot more satisfying than regular fig bars without the swwetness.

I have to start by saying we are fans of Nature's Bakery Fig bars so when we saw the whole wheat ones we had to try them out. They have lived up to everything we like and have a good solid (not crunchy) wheat covering with really tasty figs inside. In fact we think the fig taste in this bar is better than others of this company but that might be just the stone wheat flavor adding to the fig flavor. Even though not crunchy they are also not just soft so when you bite into them you feel like you are getting some substance when eating! They make an excellent snack at 110 calories per bar (2 bars to a pack) or as we sometimes do they make a good breakfast on the go eating both bars in the pack. We will definitely buy more of these.
