Freshpet Fresh Dog Food, Grain Free Chicken Recipe, Slice & Serve Roll, 1.5 lb.

My little puchipoo, Peppy, has been eating Original Chicken FreshPet for most of his life and seemed to like it well enough, although I noticed that he'd push it around the bowl with his nose and took quite a while to clean his dish. But I know that FreshPet is a healthy alternative to other dog foods, so I stuck with it and Peppy, now ten years old, has been healthy. A recent order substituted FreshPet Grain-Free because the Original was out of stock. Peppy eats it with more enthusiasm, and this version is now his regular food, so I wonder if his former reluctance to eat his food might have been due to the grain content. Although it costs more than the Original, my dog's health is worth the expenditure. Even though Peppy is small, only six pounds, he deserves the best I can give him.
