Since I don't eat this myself %26 my cats seem to like it as they both eat it up. My 4 y/o cats doesn't chew her food well and throws it up every few days. I adopted her and one of her off spring when they were 2 %26 3 y/o %26 they are only now becoming friendly I can't look to see the condition of all her teeth. I have tried to pulverize it with my Ninja Food Processor, which has 2 layers of large razor sharp blades, with some success. It requires the addition of 1 cup of water per 2 1/2 cups this food. I ran it on Puree and it did a pretty good job after 4 -5 mins. That makes me understand why my 4 1/2 year old cat has difficulty chewing. It makes me question what they do to create such an incredibly hard product and how it manages to maintain any nutritional value. Since my cats seem to like it I'll continue to serve it up until It runs out. For GENERAL INFO I've included these alternatives. this is great dry cat food. i trust Blue Buffalo. the taste and ingredients are the best. most of all, my feline baby girl Jamie eats it up. i get the weight/hair ball kind but there are other options and flavors. i realize the price is highed then other brands BUT the quality is no comparison! i want my furry companion to have the best. her coat is shiny and she is now within safe weight. she has arthritis in her back right leg but is able to jump onto my high bed as we as living room couch. i only get Blue Buffalo items ( canned food/treats) as they are the best and,she eats then up. i thank Blue Buffalo and highly recommend this item

Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Adult Dry Cat Food, Weight %26 Hairball Control is an excellent cat food. My only complaint is Blue Buffalo's high prices for us seniors on fixed incomes. We can't usually buy it. We are often left with so little money after bills that we are forced to buy the poorly made cheap cat foods filled with preservatives and fillers. I am a pet mom of 4 kitties and a dog love Blue Buffalo's Tasteful Weight %26 hairball Control for our 3 obese cats. The kibbles are small, there are few ingredients and meat if the main ingredient.
