Big tough radio.

I have two of the smaller Sangeans and this radio's sound is twice as loud and rich. The only thing I am worried about is the extra batteries to run the display. I guess time will tell as to how long they will last for they to not charge with the other D cell batteries. This is a heavy radio so if you are concerned about weight I would by the lunch box 100 model. Or one like it. This unit does have a lot of bells and whistles. Blue tooth. Two alarms. Weather radio Runs on D cell batteries regular or rechargeable. It has the capability to diagnose and bad battery individually. It also runs on ac plug. Be sure to change switch on the inside of battery compartment.
