This replaced my old west bend ice tea maker, I was worried that it would not brew the tea the same as the west bend! No worry came out the very same, not stronger or weaker just right for my taste! The only thing that could make it better would be if they included a basket for your loose tea!

Before I purchase an item such as this tea maker that will be used on a regular basis or in this case on a daily basis, I read a lot of reviews. I read several which mentioned the user having the unit leak on them. A little trick I discovered although I had no trouble with leaks and I think it’s because I discovered if when you’re putting the pitcher under the dispenser where the tea comes out into the pitcher, if you slightly tilt the appliance as you stick the pitcher up under the dispenser
