Rancid, maybe?
Normally, this brand is delicious. The salt content is just right. The pecans are roasted just enough. This batch; however, was horrid. I actually checked the expiration date because of the “whang” - they still have 18 months before expiration. I don't know what's wrong, but this is not something I'll purchase again.
