We received a second hand fridge that works great but the auto ice maker doesn't work. The large bagged ice was hard to store within the fridge, and we used the traditional ice cube trays as well but the cubes were pretty big. I really like the size of this ice (it's like the pellet ice that everyone loves, except not as tiny or crushed). It is gumdrop sized ice and I love it. We use these trays to fill up the dispenser in our fridge and then we can access the ice through the door. The only thing is I wish the trays were a little more flexible to twist to get the ice out quicker into the door compartment. I also am sure to not overfill the tray which would cause the cubes to fuse together. Once frozen I set the trays on the counter for a few minutes and they release from the tray just fine at that point.

I am totally obsessed with these mini cube trays and the timing to try them out couldn't be better. This set comes with 3 trays, each making 60 mini cubes (think old time DOTS gummy candy size). These cubes froze really quickly and were really easy to pop out of the trays. We like to make Orange Crush adult beverages and I always hate how they get watered down so quickly, especially in the warmer summer months, so I actually fill these with fresh squeezed orange juice - a true game changer in the beverage game for sure. These trays don't take up a lot of room in the freezer and the cubes seem to last a long time, especially in insulated cups, we'll be picking up a few more packs for all our summer parties.
