My sons old mattress made alot of noise and would wake him when he moved around so I got this one since its foam with a cotton topper. It's a nice mattress, it's not one of those that comes in the mail needing to inflate! Theres no smell to it. The topper is soft and my almost 2 yr old sleeps great on it.
