Scotts 4-Step Program Step 1 Lawn Fertilizer With Crabgrass Preventer

This is to balance all of the negative reviews I found here. After reading all of the problem reviews I was reluctant to try step three but I did. It worked just fine. No burning or problems. Guess what, I actually followed the directions. It says to water right away so I waited a few weeks until rain was near. One day I saw rain showers about an hour away so I put it down. I do horizontal passes then go back over with vertical passes so I use a bit more than directed. Three weeks later the lawn has a deeper green, not like the bright green of step one in the spring. I don't know what the other people did to have such bad problems but I had none of them. Maybe they didn't put it down before a rain shower or water it in. I don't know. Just don't take these few bad reviews as a consistent problem as it worked fine for me.

Have been usinbg Scots 4 Step Program for about 10 years My lawn is the thickest,greenest and non-weed or crabgrass lawn in the entire neighborhood. Love the program!!
