I was looking for a radio I could take on walks with me that wasn't bulky. This radio works great, it has good reception and the earphones work great any plug in earphones work just great. Flashback radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping and noticed this transistor radio on the shelf. I didn't even know they still made them. I work in the yard a lot and carry a portable one which is a little hard to carry with rakes, shovels and all that. So I thought this radio would work fine and then I found out it had headphones which made it even better. I put the radio in my pocket, plug the earphones in, and work in the yard for hours. I love it because it was economical, easy to maneuver, and the sound is great. It wasn't scratchy, no static or anything. It was perfect.
