I had to empty my canister multiple times for one room. the suction is just a amazing, the filter pick all the dust from my cat and dog hair, and the cat litter dust. the swivel I had to get the handle of it, but once I did it's great!!!

I started vacuuming last night with it once I assembled it. I honestly didn't think it was picking up bc it's so easy to push. When I looked at the canister I was surprised and disgusted all at once. It was half full of pet hair and dust from just a tiny area of my living room. I am one who vacuums daily. That much was left from my old vacuum! Buy it! Especially if you have pets!!
