Mae Ploy Green Curry Paste, 14 oz, 1 Count Jar

I did read the reviews prior to purchasing, so I knew it had a kick, frankly we enjoy that, and I heard it was salty. Can confirm both, hence the 4 star for taste. Used to use a tiny jar of green curry, Thai Kitchen, which is wonderful, but at 5 bucks for maybe 2 or 3 uses per container, I was looking for something new with a budget friendly price tag. This is a good curry paste. I got 3 tubs for 16 bucks, and they are of a generous size, about 5 times the other brand. They come in a sealed plastic bag inside the container, so the product stays fresh for a long time. We tasted it and it has a very nice level of spice, but it is pretty salty, but neither were a surprise. It has a decent depth of flavor, and is an awesome addition to ramens and stir frys, so far. And I went off script and rubbed a Boston prok butt cut down with it because I was out of items to make chili verde, so I improvised. It came out really delicious from the pressure cooker, but I did also add a verde molé, ground cumin and seed, cilantro and some peppers. Not a true verde in the sense, but it made a very good tasting meat that was perfect for tacos, burritos, over rice and beans, etc. Just leave out the salt when using and when done cooking, add after tasting. I am happy with the brand, the heat and the taste. Solid new score and find. Give it a try for you, they sell them in singles too, but the 3 pack was the best value and bang for the buck, hope it stays that way, pantry staple now.

This is such a good product. The amount that you get in this jar is so many different servings and meals. It is a 14 ounce jar and you seriously may need 3 tablespoons for an entire meal. Plus coconut milk, meat and veggies. I have used so many different pouches and so many different products and nothing is close to the value of buying this tub of green curry paste. Also, I know I didn't say it, but it is extremely delicious.
