I decided to completely switch up my oral hygiene routine after a dentist visit where I was told I was in the early stages of gingivitis. I've always had really sensitive gums, so using a medium or hard toothbrush was no longer an option for me. I picked up the Colgate Gum Expert Ultra Soft toothbrush because I needed something gentle that could actually get close to my gum line. I'll be honest, I was skeptical. I had never used a soft or ultra soft toothbrush before and didn't think it would clean my teeth well enough. But I was genuinely surprised. Not only did my teeth feel super clean after every brush, but I was finally able to comfortably brush along my gum line without pain or irritation, which has always been my problem area. After about three months of consistently using this toothbrush, I went back to my dentist, and she was shocked at how much my oral hygiene had improved. My gums were noticeably healthier, the inflammation had gone down, and she was genuinely proud of the progress. If you deal with bleeding gums, sensitive gums, or you're in the early stages of gingivitis, I cannot recommend this toothbrush enough. Switching to an ultra soft brush honestly changed my oral hygiene for the better, and I don't see myself going back to anything else.
