Great SIB maiden voyage - lets see how it lasts

The 1.2mm pvc is great on the tubes, double pvc on bottom, but an extra thick bottom strake would be a nice to have. Foot pump definitely does the trick but do complete, slow pumps, not short, fast. Much more efficient. Make sure not to inflate over 30 - 40% for initial setup. Its tight, great fit but needs a bit of muscle to get the floor in place. After a bit of trial and error, muscle and deflating/re-inflating, it went together really well. With the 15' SIB, you can deflate a lot while in the water and start haul out. We had a utility trailer with a ramp that worked extremely well for her maiden voyage. Just needed to deflate it alot before pulling it on the trailer. Should have done that before trailering to lake before initial launch. MUCH EASIER to muscle when 60% deflated. And I was able to stand in the boat with only 40% inflated, no problem. This is a real machine! I am taking it out again with an 86lb thrust, electric trolling motor. I will post again in the next 7-8 months or if there is anything noteworthy.
