Great Easter flavored Peeps!

These Rice Krispie treat flavored marshmallow peep chicks, are great tasting, but not overly sweet. I purchased them for my daughter's Easter basket and she absolutely love them. It seems like an interesting flavor so I figured I'd give them a try. The package is generously sized and worth the price for the amount and the quality.

I'm what some might call a sweet treat connoisseur. I don't discriminate and I'll try any saccharine delight handed to me. Peeps have always been a favorite of mine, mostly because I love marshmallows and they are just very cute! So, when I saw these I was very intrigued, but skeptical! I couldn't imagine how it would taste and so when I finally tried it I was stunned. It's marshmallows, obviously. It has not really a rice crispy taste but it's warm and sweet. A nice and somewhat syrupy vanilla flavor? I adore it!

These taste like a vanilla Peep, which I guess tastes similar to anything vanilla, like a Krispie treat, just not as overpoweringly vanilla like the party cake Peeps. They're good!
