quiet and runs continuously for a long time

ordered thru Walmart and received it within a few days. it is very quiet and shreds smaller pieces than i expected. my old version of this shredder gave out after many years. this shredder is better in that it pulverizes the paper instead of leaving long strips that information can still be seen. i only used it for about 20 minutes but so far ... great.

This replaced a 10 year old Staples shredder that I thought was reasonably quiet, and this shredder is extremely quiet. It would be easy to hold a conversation in the same room with it while it is running. Does its job very well, not bogging down when I put a bunch of sheets through it. It is at a good height for sitting in a chair and feeding sheets through. Overall very happy with it and would get another if I needed a second shredder.
