Better than "Plain" Stainless

We have (had) the other version of this little kettle in the brushed stainless steel finish, but she thought we needed a bit more color in the kitchen. (Full disclosure: we seldom boil any water in it, using it as a burner cover so we're not leaving a hot burner just sitting there after we take the pot we were using off of it. Still, it works just peachy when we both want an evening cup of tea.) The nice thing about this unit versus our original plain unit is that the glossy finish wipes clean quite easily. The brushed stainless of the other? Not so much. Should have grabbed this one the first time around. Or maybe that shiny red one in the bigger size...

Very cute teapot, but part of the instructions about being made from toxic materials is concerning. Still using it every day, just rinse evry time i use it and fill eith fresh water. After you read tge instructions, I would not use it to make tea fie children, older adults will be fine.

The pot had a horizontal dent about one inch on the side near the top, probably from shipping, but that's not my main issue. I read it's paperwork and it mentioned almost cautionly various types of metals made made from the pot. I'm going to return it and purchase a glass teapot.
