Safe Handling Instructions: This is made with raw com, so it is not ready-to-eat and must be thoroughly cooked before eating to prevent illness. Do not eat or play with raw product; wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling. Hot Water Directions: 1. Empty packet into bowl. 2. Add 1/2 cup boiling water, stir. Microwave Directions: 1. Empty packet into 2 cup microwave-safe bowl. 2. Add 1/2 cup water or milk, stir. 3. Microwave on high 1 minute to 1 minute 15 seconds; stir. Microwave ovens vary in power, cooking times may need to be adjusted. For thicker grits, decrease liquid; for thinner grits increase liquid. To open, press in here & pull upwards to tear off flap. Lift tab to open or remove flap along perforation on the back of box for a convenient pantry pack. To Close: Insert tab. See other side for opening instructions.

I only wish that great value made a variety of cheese grits too they only sell the butter and the regular instant grits so if I want cheese in them I have to buy this brand and pay it at least a dollar more but I mix the two together to retain a budget I do recommend if you like cheese in your grits goes great with ham and egg and other meats us Southerners love our grits with just about anything I do highly recommend.

The bananas delivered were way too ripe. My recommendation would be to pick your own fruits and vegetables and not rely on a delivery person to pick them out for you.
