Warning: I'm old, and I'm really weary of the anti-"old people" propaganda that people just assume is true nowadays, including the myth of old people automatically smelling bad. We don't, and it's very disrespectful. Every body has the potential to smell. We all need to keep clean and it is a pleasure. Older people's skin can have special needs, not just from health issues but due to different lifestyle. That is no excuse to hate on us. OK, I had to get that out of the way! I originally tried thus, Majestic body wash, because I was afraid I had picked up a skin fungus from working in my yard in hot weather. My skin got very itchy and bumpy, but if I scratched where it itched, it left marks. I tried expensive body washes for dry skin. They don't leave you feeling clean enough and can make you too slippery. They were more like cosmetics and I never felt like the question of a fungus was resolved. l had tried "gentle" baby shampoo to avoid wear and tear on my skin, but it was way too watered down. I am a clean person and was determined to feel and smell clean, and not be itchy, without putting on lotions and creams, feeling greasy, getting dust stuck to me, having to washing it all off and start over again. It's harder on frail older skin to bathe/shower everyday. It can also be a big chore if you have mobility issues and need help or are a fall risk. Skipping a day or two and washing at the sink or having a bed bath is often better in the long run--as long as you have the right soap for your chemistry. I did not expect this body wash to be so good for my skin. I expected it to be medicinal, like coal tar or Dr Bronner's concentrated. It's neither. It is body wash. It smells great, sudses up fast, gets you clean, washes off completely and you just feel healthy, well maintained, not itchy, not bumpy, comfortable, like a normal human being. I use it from top to bottom and all parts in between. It gets the wrinkle zones and is gentle enough on my face. I use a nylon pouf and a back scrubber. The fragrance is light, refreshing, unisex. Many washes in one bottle. If you walk or work out and get sweaty outside, or live in a stuffy house, have been sick or stuck in bed, have a doctor's visit or a social event, you want to feel comfortable, confident and healthy with no worries of "old people smell." Also it says "body AND feet." I've never needed a special foot soap but have known people with foot problems who would benefit from this. It would also be nice if you like soaking your feet in a tub of Epsom salts to relax or before pedicure. This body wash plus a nylon pouf or back scrubber is a thoughtful and affordable gift that anyone will love, but especially an older person, a person who spends a lot of time in bed (or up on their feet a lot), or who goes to physical therapy or the gym, or who is a party animal. Basically it's a perfect product for older people without buying into the idea of "old people smell." RESPECT.🙏

I am a big fan of tea tree oil products, but this is the first time trying this brand. Two small pumps produces loads of suds with a nice scent that is pleasant but not overpowering. If you have skin issues or just seasonal dry skin this works wonders and makes your skin feel soft. I will definitely be reordering this body wash.
