Bath duckie My girls both love their bath time but my older daughter is very sensitive to hot water. She has a really hard time when the water is too warm and it's very hard for me to tell when exactly that is. This little rubber duckie bath thermometer is the perfect solution. There is a digital screen that tells you the actual temperature of the bath water. My daughter can also easily tell if it's too hot with the brightly lit blue, green or red backlights on the screen. Blue means it's too cold, green means it's perfect and red means it's too hot. The screen shows the blue backlights for anything under 96°and red when the water temperature is over 101.7° There are water sensors on the bottom of the duckie that activate the screen when it is in the water and turns off when it's removed. The duck is not only useful for gauging the water temperature but the outside is constructed just like an actual rubber duckie so my girls can play with it too. They love it! I received a sample of this duckie to try out with my kids.

Rubber ducks are something that pretty much any child enjoys in their bath so this item is something that not only is useful to parents, but fun for the kids as well. When checking the temperature against another brands item that is similar, the temperature did match up. The duckie is a harder plastic, but has smooth edges. There is no area where water can get into the duck and cause mold issues. The numerics on the digital part of the duck are large enough for me to read without my glasses. I also like that this lights up to color. Red for too hot, etc. The duck is lightweight and after many uses, is still working nicely.
