Releases a cooling sensation in mouth and throat. This heartburn relief medicine is an acid reducer intended for adults and children 12 years and over. Controls the acid production in the stomach. Why wait for heartburn relief? Cool Mint flavor tablets help prevent meal-induced heartburn when taken at least 10-60 minutes before eating. This product does not contain gluten.

Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to famotidine or other acid reducers. Do not use: if you have trouble or pain swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stools. These may be signs of a serious condition. See your doctor; with other acid reducers. Ask a doctor before use if you have: had heartburn over 3 months. This may be a sign of a more serious condition; heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating, or dizziness; chest pain or shoulder pain with shortness of breath; sweating; pain spreading to arms, neck or shoulders; or lightheadedness; frequent chest pain; frequent wheezing, particularly with heartburn; unexplained weight loss; nausea or vomiting; stomach pain; kidney disease. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. Acid reducers may interact with certain prescription drugs. Stop use and ask a doctor if: your heartburn continues or worsens; you need to take this product for more than 14 days. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. I have a history of severe gerd. It was made worse by a stroke. I can't take anything but this due to the stroke and this product really works. Take approx 1 hr before eating and it will usually stop heartburn. This brand is as good as the brand name products.

The addition of the mint flavor is soothing.
What an immediate relief with just the nice, cool minty flavor of these tablets. It truly does sooth your stomach and keeps heartburn at bay when I eat. I personally have never felt sleepy when I take it or has it affected my stomach. If you do fell drowsy, just take it a night when you go to bed. I sound like a dr., which I'm not, so if you'd like try it, see for yourself what you think. I truly recommend it.
