I also purchased it to help block sound from an elevated train within 15 ft. from my apartment..it helps somewhat in suppressing outside sound also helps keep cold out and heat in ..works well easy setup and fabric is fabric not plasticey and fakish as other reasonable cost curtains claiming to block light and be thermal

I have bought these curtains twice because I was so happy with them and I think I will buy two more sets because they are so fabulous! The value for your money is *chef's kiss*! They are thick, look high-end, blackout, and insulate when closed but give a cozy feeling to your home. They come with rings %26 clips so you can hang them with those for a nice look or even add curtain hooks for an even more luxurious feel (I'm a mom so we don't have time for that 😉). I recommend low temp steaming these after a wash and after you get them hung. I need another set to cover my large window but that's my issue not theirs. I've had several friends compliment these and ask for a link! Highly recommend and the seller is great! 10/10!
